The Uncertain Space Virtual Museum

The Uncertain Space is the University of Bristol's virtual museum. It’s a way to experience items from many of our unique collections in one place. The museum has an evolving collection of exhibitions, it’s not just another one-off digital project. Our plan is to create new exhibitions, integrate the space into our teaching and work with new collaborators to push the boundaries of what virtual museum might mean.

The PC (non-VR) version of the Uncertain Space Museum is tested on Windows 10 & 11.

The VR version is tested on Meta Quest 2 and 3 headsets, but it should work on any up-to-date Android based VR headset. You'll need to 'sideload' the .apk (see our Sideloading package)

Both are the full version of the museum, with all current exhibitions included. Both versions of the  game are updated regularly, as new exhibitions are added.
